Alabama’s 13 20th Annual Can-A-Thon returns to Brookwood Village to collect food for the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.

Join us on Friday, November 21, as we collect canned goods, nonperishable food items and household items for the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. All of the food collected will be distributed to local families in need. This is an annual event that the Food Bank relies on to help meet the demand during the very busy holiday season. This year’s Can-A-Thon will be conducted at Brookwood Village’s main entrance on Village Lane. Alabama’s 13 news anchors Brook Smith, Lisa Crane, Bettina Boateng and Mike Royer will be at Brookwood Village throughout the day to report on the Can-A-Thon’s progress. They will be joined by personalities from radio stations WDJC-FM and Superstation 101, who will also be on site to accept your donations. Let’s be sure to top last year’s collection of 6,549 pounds of food!
