This month and throughout the year, Heart Gallery Alabama encourages all families and local organizations to raise awareness of the more than 500 children and youth living in Alabama’s foster care system who are waiting for permanent families. Heart Gallery Alabama will be celebrating National Adoption Month this year on Thursday, November 20, 2014 with an exhibit and light reception beginning at 5:30pm at Brookwood Village. The event will celebrate families created through adoption this year and feature two of the organization’s most recent success stories. The Heart Gallery Alabama exhibit is available for viewing during the entire month of November outside of Lynn’s Hallmark on the upper level of Brookwood Village.
