Fashion's Night Out at Brookwood Village September 6th

Colonial Brookwood Village and Haute Pink are pleased to announce the addition of local celebrities walking their catwalk during Fashion’s Night Out. The national event will be held at Colonial Brookwood Village on Thursday, September 6th benefitting The Junior League of Birmingham and the 34 community projects its volunteers serve.  Colonial Brookwood Village with help from Haute Pink, a local on-line magazine specializing in women’s fashion and beauty, will host this iconic fashion extravaganza which will include a 25 minute runway presentation to begin at 7:00 PM showcasing fall fashion from area retailers and live music on the street before and after the show.  

The runway show will feature:
  • Volunteers from the Junior League of Birmingham and their daughters
  • Martie Duncan, runner-up Next Food Network Star and owner of Martie Knows Parties
  • Arden Ward, photographer
  • Chelsea Ellis, University of Alabama student
  • Lou Lacey, grief counselor at Children’s of Alabama.  
The menswear segment will feature:
  • Chuck Faush, chief of staff to Mayor William Bell
  • Jonathan Austin, Birmingham city councilor, district 5
  • Charlie Waldrep, attorney, Waldrep, Stewart, and Kendrick, LLC
  • Mike Dubberly, FOX 6 news anchor
  • Lance Taylor, WJOX on-air personality
  • Courtney French, attorney, Fuston, Petway & French, LLP
  • Gary Burley, former NFL defensive end and founder of Pro Start Academy
  • Ty Taylor, owner of Pinches Tacos
  • Terrance Meade, standout UAB basketball player.  
Colonial Brookwood Village and Haute Pink together with co-sponsors, B Metro Magazine and Charter Media have come together to bring this global fashion event to Birmingham, showcasing southern style and fashion expertise to men and women in the area.
