Z Gallerie To Open New Brookwood Village Location

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (August 25, 2015) – Z Gallerie, purveyor of fashion-forward home furnishings, art and accessories, is relocating its store within Brookwood Village.  The new location, situated on the upper level near Books-A-Million, is slated to open on Thursday, August 27, 2015.

Z Gallerie showcases an ever-changing combination of stylish traditional and contemporary designs in furniture, art, tableware, bedding and more.  It's the perfect store to pop in for a unique gift, find pieces that will accent any space or begin to create entire rooms that are fashionable and stunning.

“Z Gallerie has demonstrated a profound dedication to operating at Brookwood Village by building out a beautiful new store on the shopping center’s upper level,” stated Todd Minnis, chief investment officer for Cypress Equities, the managing agent for the shopping center located in both Homewood and Mountain Brook.  “The new store will continue to provide Brookwood Village shoppers with an array of attractive home furnishings at affordable prices.”

Z Gallerie’s relocation is just one of numerous activities related to Brookwood Village’s renovation program.  The first phase of the interior common area project, encompassing the east side of the upper level stretching from Macy’s to Kay Jewelers, is currently underway.  Scheduled to be complete by the end of September 2015, the common area concourse will be updated with wood flooring.  The second phase of renovation work will commence in early October on the opposite side of the upper level, including the common area between the food court and Belk department store.  Complete details of Brookwood Village’s renovation program may be found on the shopping center’s website.

In addition to the interior renovations of the enclosed mall common areas, Five Guys Burgers and Fries is remodeling its 2,546-square-foot restaurant located near the shopping center’s main entrance along Village Lane.  The refreshed store is slated to reopen September 18.  Verizon Wireless, currently under construction in the former Applebee’s space, is scheduled to open in September, while new restaurant Grille 29 is planning an early October opening in a free-standing 8,000-square-foot building on the Village’s east side.
